To the version of you that is ready to stop playing small,
As we close out this month of reclaiming our focus and staging our own audacious pivots, I want to invite you into an exercise of pure imagination. Because the absolute fastest way to strip the power away from a limiting, negative story is to look right past it and imagine your future as big, bold, and loud as humanly possible.
When I look ahead into my own audacious future, I don’t see a version of myself that is restricted by past hurts or trapped by current schedules.
I see a woman who is profoundly successful. She has built a thriving career as a therapist, guiding others through their own shadows. She was written her book and held it in her hands. When she goes out in public she sees a woman jogging with her swag on. She looks back at the “Now Me” with fierce, unadultered pride because she knows exactly how hard I worked on myself to get there. She moves through the world with a powerful, healing energy that is strong, caring, and infinitely kind. She has money in the bank, an undeniable spring in her step, and a profound confidence in her own abilities. She isn’t greedy; she is informed, abundant, and joyfully donates to the causes she holds close to her heart. She is motivated beyond her wildest dreams.
That version of me is waiting for me. And your highest, most audacious future self is waiting for you, too.
The Ultimate Act of Self-Advocacy
Here is the final truth I want to leave you with as we wrap up this theme: There are a lot of things in this life that we cannot control. Bad things happen. Unfair things happen. And if we look closely, we will realize that a lot of the people we surround ourselves with – and society in general – implicitly want us to stay small, quiet, and victimized. It’s easier to manage us when we are small.
But you do not have to stay small.
You are an amazing, fabulous, multi-dimensional human being who deserves the exact story and the exact future that you want. You possess the raw power and the innate ability to build it. All that is left for you to do today is make the absolute, final decision to be your own loudest advocate. Step into the arena, put yourself first, and start orchestrating the masterpiece.
We are turning the page, the ink is dry on the old chapters, and the future is ours to write. Thank you for walking this audacious path with me this month. We are just getting started.
