The April Pivot: From Gritty to Glimmery

Let’s be real – we’ve been doing some heavy lifting lately. We’ve talked about the science of bouncing back, the grit of growth, and how to strengthen our emotional core. It’s been powerful, but I think we’re all ready for a little more light. With the grass beginning to turn green, the end of winter storms blowing in, and the return of the geese and butterflies now seemed like the right time.

As we head into the final stretch of April, I’m making an audacious pivot. We’re moving from “survival mode” to “savouring mode.” For the next two weeks, we aren’t working on our resilience; we’re working on our wonder. I’m calling this series Everyday Magic. It’s about the micro-joys, the pops of colour, and the zero-stakes play that makes life feel vibrant again.

Week 1: The Lens of Delight

Main Blog: The Art of Micro-Joys: Finding the Big Magic in Small Moments – Coming Tomorrow
Mini Blog: Curating for Calm: Small Spaces, Big Vibes – Coming Friday
Mini Blog: The Weekend Joy List: 5 Ways to Reset – Coming Saturday

Week 2: The Vibrant Shift

Two Week Challenge

Each day until May 1st, while you’re out and about – maybe catching some sunshine or shovelling up some spring snow – find one thing that feels like Everyday Magic just notice it. No need to overthink it.
